Chemical Fiber Association combines industry research to discuss the development of the chemical fiber industry during the "13th Five-Year Plan" and "14th Five-Year Plan"
On the evening of May 14 (Thursday) 20:00-21:00, the fourth session of the Fiber Air Lecture Hall held by the Chemical Fiber Association led by the Chemical Fiber Association was launched. Fu Wenjing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chemical Fiber Association, brought you a " Chemical fiber industry's "13th Five-Year" development review and "14th Five-Year" outlook" themed live public courses.
Deputy Secretary-General Fu Wenjing first reviewed the development of the chemical fiber industry during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period. The average annual growth rate of chemical fiber output from 2015 to 2019 remained at 4.8%. Industry competition intensified, industry concentration further increased, and functionally differentiated fibers and high The research and development of performance fiber is a prominent field of scientific and technological progress. At the same time, the impact of labor costs and environmental protection costs on corporate operating costs has increased. The main development highlights are: refining and chemical integration of polyester and polyester. 2019 is the first year of the commercial operation of China's refining and chemical integration project. It realizes the development model of the entire industrial chain from "crude oil refining to chemical fiber textile"; nylon industry chain Extending upstream, gradually forming large-scale joint production bases of nylon such as Hengyi Dongying, Shenma Pingdingshan and Hengshen Fuzhou; the industry has also formed an enterprise pattern of refining and chemical giants and small giants focusing on subdivided fields.
Regarding the external environment facing the development of the industry, Deputy Secretary-General Fu Wenjing focused on analyzing the impact of the spread of the new crown epidemic on economic development and social production and lifestyle. Regarding the key areas and development trends of the chemical fiber industry during the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan", she focused on the following aspects:
First, supply and demand trends. Population growth, economic development, and per capita fiber consumption will continue to be the decisive factors for fiber demand growth. From an international perspective, the potential consumer market in developing economies has yet to be released; from the domestic perspective, residents’ income growth, The rapid development of consumer finance provides positive support for the expansion of domestic demand. However, we must focus on the adjustment of demand and incremental structure and changes in consumption trends under the new situation.
The second is the industry’s competitive landscape. The common ground for chemical fiber companies to grow and maintain competitiveness is to be based on the world’s largest and sustained high-growth market. Macroeconomic transformation, demographic dividends disappear, cross-border competition intensifies, and innovation and technology emerge one after another. Factors such as second-generation handovers will change the operating environment and business model of future enterprises. Leading enterprises should constantly improve their development strategies, improve merger and acquisition integration, group brand management, and even globalized transnational operation capabilities.
The third is intelligent manufacturing. The continuous integration of supply chains by large chemical fiber companies is conducive to the formation of a coordinated system of production, marketing and research, which directly changes the communication and transaction methods among stakeholders, and promotes digital innovation of enterprises to increase the added value of products.
Fourth, industrial transfer and international layout. The “Belt and Road” initiative has created a favorable environment for the international layout of the textile industry. Southeast Asia and Africa are the key areas for the textile industry’s foreign investment. Machine substitutions and intelligent manufacturing will further promote cost reduction and efficiency gains in China's chemical fiber industry, while taking into account comprehensive factors such as investment and financing environment, industrial chain layout and supporting facilities, and infrastructure. The main parts and increments of the chemical fiber industry chain will remain in China in the future. No large-scale industrial relocation will occur.
Fifth, green development has become the core concern of industries and enterprises. Bio-raw materials and bio-based chemical fibers, recycled chemical fibers, high-quality raw liquid coloring chemical fibers, and the key promotion of energy-saving and emission reduction technologies are all ways for the industry to seek green development. The vast majority of enterprises also believe that it is necessary for enterprises to set up special environmental protection and sustainable development departments during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
Sixth, consumer trends and brand cultivation. Fiber is used as a raw material and intermediate product. The brand is mainly built through two ways: corporate brand (B2B model) and integration with downstream terminals (B2C model). It has conducted beneficial exploration for the cultivation of industry brands and the exploration of brand connotation.
Seven is the policy environment, including the optimization of the national governance system and business environment, the decisive role of the market in the allocation of resources, and capital market reforms. In the long run, improving the country’s governance capacity is of paramount importance and is worth looking forward to. Many It's in the subtleties that you have a good foundation.
This course has attracted wide attention from employees in the textile industry industry chain, chemical fiber alliance members and various related research institutes. Everyone entered the classroom through the Tencent meeting to listen to the class, and after the course ended, related issues and pay attention to the development of the chemical fiber industry Deputy Secretary-General Wen Jing interacted.
